Funeral & Memorials Celebrant

  • Funeral Services
  • Memorials
  • Eulogies

With Julia Cattalini as the Celebrant, you can be assured that the funeral of your loved one will be conducted with much love and dignity. With her attention to detail, Julia will assist you in creating a beautiful ceremony – planning the service and, if required, can assist with the writing of the eulogy and choice of readings.

Having officiated over a thousand funerals, Julia has had extensive experience in creating ceremonies for people of various nationalities who hold a wide range of cultures and beliefs.

Julia works closely with families to ensure all wishes are met and each ceremony is unique to meet the family’s specific needs. She has conducted funerals in all manner of locations – from chapels to gardens, and even on family farms. If you would like a beloved pet to attend the ceremony too, Julia is more than happy to accommodate this.

Memorials

Unlike a traditional burial or cremation, a memorial service to honour and celebrate the life of the deceased allows mourners much more flexibility in terms of timing, location and content. It can be held at any time after death, and delivered in whatever location that the family, friends or organisation requesting the memorial deems relevant. Julia has given memorials in gardens, at home, art galleries and parks, including the Place of Reflection in Kings Park, Perth. She has officiated at the placing of ashes at various cemeteries, both here and interstate, and has even flown with the ashes in her care.

Eulogies

Some like to plan their own funeral ahead of time and this is an area where Julia has expertise. She has often spent time with people prior to their deaths, crafting their stories and arranging all the elements of the service to suit their personal wishes.

Celebrant Mentoring & Training

  • Confidential
  • Compassionate
  • Professional

With her vast experience in the funerals sector, Julia is passionate about supporting others in the industry. In addition to becoming a Funeral Celebrant in 2011, Julia has been a funeral attendant, and an arranger/conductor whilst working for a major funeral home. She has officiated at well over a thousand funerals, spanning different cultures, beliefs and circumstances – including having the honour of being invited to officiate at a Requiem Mass with the priest! (Highly unusual.)

It is this wealth of knowledge Julia has gained over many years that has inspired her to offer a mentoring and training service to other celebrants – including guiding them through a ceremony, the order of service, and the expectations of the conductor in both personal presentation and content of ceremony.

All the people I spoke with after were highly impressed with way the service went and flowed. Could not think of a better way to send off Mum. You played a pivotal role and much appreciated. It was a difficult day, especially for me, but you handled it so professionally. A memorable day.”
